- שֶׁלַחI m. (preced.) hide, fresh skin. Makhsh. V, 6 החיבט על הש׳ he who beats upon a (wetted) bide. Bekh.IX, 4 נשחטה … והש׳ קיים when its mother has been killed, but the hide is still intact.
